Do you know the Buddhist colors?
I say with confidence that colors can rule the world.  Because colors are almost everywhere, in every religion, every industry and every art.
Each color has a special meaning depending on what industry or ritual and art it is used in.
So, today I want to share with you the meaning of the colors that exist in Buddhism.

The founder of Buddhism was a man named Siddhartha Gautama known as Buddha.  He founded Buddhism about 2,500 years ago and today it is spread throughout Asia.

The Buddha tried to teach others the methods of awareness and awakening so that he could bring them to enlightenment.

Buddhism, then, is a set of methods that helps man use all of his abilities to arrive at an understanding of truth.

As I said before, colors affect our feelings and emotions and add those feelings to our lives.

There are also colors in Buddhism that have different emotions and meanings.  These colors are sacred and revered and as much as possible these colors are used in this ritual.

These colors are as follows:

Buddhist blue color meaning

Firstly, Buddhist blue conveys a feeling of infinity, purity, health, ascension and coolness.  The Blue Buddha is Akshobhya.

Buddhists believe that if you meditate on this color when you are angry, that anger will turn into wisdom and intelligence.

They also believe that the use of blue stones prolongs life and absorbs one’s sins.  In addition, they display the air element with this color.  The ear is an organ that is shown in blue.

Buddhist white color meaning

Secondly, Buddhist white is a color for learning, purity, longevity and knowledge.  The White Buddha is Vairocana.

Buddhists believe that if you meditate on white, your ignorance will disappear and you will become wise.

There is a Buddhist legend that says that the Buddha’s mother dreams of a white elephant before the Buddha is born.  This is why the white elephant is also a symbol of the Buddha himself.  

In addition, they show the element of water with this color and also show the eyes with white color.

Thirdly, Buddhist red is with blood, fire, the sacred, preservation and life force.  The red Buddha is Amitabha.

Buddhists believe that if you meditate on the color red, your dependence will turn into wisdom.

Above all, they believe that red is a protective color.  That is why this color is used in all holy places and even in the clothes of monks.  

They also show the element of fire with this color.  Red is for the color of the tongue.

Buddhist green is a symbol of balance, youth, harmony, vigor and karma.  The green Buddha is Amoghasiddhi.

Buddhists believe that if you meditate on green, your jealousy will turn into wisdom.

In addition, they represent the element of nature in green.  The head is the part of the body that is green color.

Buddhist yellow color meaning

Buddhist yellow is a symbol renunciation, renunciation, and rootedness.  The Yellow Buddha is Ratnasambhava.

Buddhists believe that if you meditate on yellow, your pride will turn into wisdom.

Yellow, as a symbol of humility and distance from the material world, is used as the color of monks’ clothing.  

They show the earth element with this color and also show the nose with yellow color.

Finally, Buddhist black represents darkness, hatred and primordial.  In this sense, it is like the meaning of black in Western cultures.

Meditation on the color black, makes a person reach an understanding with himself and can achieve inner peace through this.

The color black is commonly found in black thangkas, which represent gods.

Another example of uses of Buddhism colors .  It is their international flag.

The message and meaning of each color is slightly different from what was above.

There are colors for every religion and ritual.  These colors have different meanings in each religion.  Sometimes the color that has positive meanings in one religion has the same color in another religion has negative meanings.

Finally, it is important to pay attention to these meanings in any religion and it will help you to know that religion better.
